They include churches, cafes, bars, clubs, community centers, public libraries, gyms, bookstores, makerspaces, stoops, parks, theaters, and opera houses, among others.

Do you think there are a lack of them, or lack of utilization of them, or are there ways we could improve or participate in a “third place” in our lives more?

    Third places in Bulgaria are over utilised. At least in the capital where from friday to sunday and everyday after 5pm it’s full of people. This trend started after the plandemic.

    During the weekdays those places are quiet and cool. I especially like the gym around from 11am to 1pm.

    For me I would like more parks and or open spaces without that much noise of cars. Or better public transport since my city isn’t that big.
