Might be a dumb question, but I’ll ask it anyway… Would it be possible for the app to always show .jpg pictures instead of .webp? If I remeber correctly, if you upload a .jpg or .png file, Lemmy converts it to .webp. Can this be reversed in Sync?
If you mean the times where you want to share a picture to other apps/services and they don’t support .webp then I don’t want to get with those.
It’s the best compression. What do you think the hesitation is? (Screenshot plus a quick crop is probably your best bet until adoption).
