Nice, I just wish there was something they could do about the robocalls coming from outside the US.
They could, they just won’t.
They are, though. The FCC and FTC have been working on doing things on their end, and the FCC is forcing telecoms to do things on their end.
This type of thing takes time to implement, though.
The telecoms companies could have started years ago and the regulations could have been in place then too. I have my doubts that there is any real enthusiasm for getting this effectively implemented any time soon.
Coulda shoulda. They didn’t. So the next best time is now.
Not without a shitty carrier-specific app and subscription fee anyway. But they can’t even manage that.
