    Russia has a fascinating and hilarious history of mobilizing state resources to create knockoffs of popular tech from elsewhere going back to post-WW2. Everything from radios, TVs and cameras, to the Space Shuttle.

    What inevitably happens is they get like 50% of the product in good working order, find out it’s hard, then inevitably do a “Fuck this, we do it our own way” and fuck up the last half, leaving a litany of laughable results for the rest of us to avoid.

    Digital distribution platforms are hard. Software is hard. Can’t wait to see what kind of atrocious shit they churn out on this one 😂

    Fuck Russia.
