China is quietly making progress on a new technique to develop advanced chips without the need for EUV systems from Dutch giant ASML, a breakthrough that could potentially thwart US trade sanctions.
As a Dutch guy it’s very nice to see our economy being threatened by the maniacal politics of our so called biggest ally. Sadly the European elite seems too stupid to realize this.
They do, the ASML CEO fought back against the sanctions and said if they go through, China will develop the technology themselves and lose all their business
The Dutch president overrided him and went ahead with the sanctions anyways
