I forgot this community existed, I never saw any posts from it until now.
It’s been a long while ago since I played, I don’t have one favorite but two;
- Lady Butterfly
- Emma, the Gentle Blade
Lady Butterfly because the place is all fired and you’re basically fighting someone that helped you become who you are.
Emma the Gentle Blade because someone that’s so gentle to you and wants the best for you and you end up having to fight her. She doesn’t want to kill you but forces herself to do because she doesn’t want to see you go Shura.
Yea it kinda went dormant for a few months, and in an attempt to get people visiting, I started posting a bunch of memes regularly. It’s not as active as I’d personally like it to be, but I guess that’s just Lemmy for you. We’ve had some great discussions here on numerous topics, though - check out the other posts sometime if you feel like it!
I feel both both of your choices. Lady Butterfly kicked my teeth in the first time around and was quite a wall. Emma was an awesome but very sad fight. Felt appropriate for the canonically evil ending.
I go nuts for true corrupted monk. Just the whole thing. The lead up to the fight being so surreal, the bridge arena, the flow of the moves, the distinct styles of each phase. The fact that it lets you into my favorite area of the game immediately afterward. One of my top moments in all of gaming
Thinking about it, Corrupted Monk is probably way up there in my top bosses in Sekiro. Fountainhead Palace is an astonishing area too, agree
