What they did makes sense, they tried to train ai model and their target was it will be proficient enough to use just 20-30 people. It is not about faking, they just were feeding data to the model with a plans to reduce workforce with time. But their ai failed.
I would assume that “fake it till you make it” does not work in the tech space.
