There is no shame here. No tax dollars would be spent around it if we had nothing to do with the region. We should exit it all because everything we have done has always resulted in bad results. This is definately an issue were neither party does a good job but the republicans have never, ever, shown to be better at getting to a good outcome. Therefore its not something that effects my voting. What gets me is all the hand wringers that want to vote or not vote to get an even worse outcome. Good job if we get that result. I just can’t imagine a significant amount of the dem party just doesn’t care their tax dollars are funding a genocide.
Maybe they don’t care, they just still have the sense of shame not to openly admit it as candidly as you just have.
