The training presentations included alleged admissions to serious criminal offences, including murder, but the British agent was not investigated or charged at the time for any crime.

The case was subsequently investigated by officers working under chief constable Jon Boutcher, who until March this year led Operation Kenova’s inquiries into Stakeknife, a notorious agent named in 2003 as former IRA security enforcer Freddie Scappaticci.

A file on the alleged admissions of the agent during his training presentations was one of 35 passed to Northern Ireland’s prosecution service but it has now been dropped.

I mean, sounds like the government needs to either officially condone this, or throw the guy under the bus.

And they can’t really pretend they didn’t know if it was part of his presentations.

But this guy didn’t just kill one person, he was one of the IRA who investigated moles in the IRA…

And he was just casually killing local police and other double agents like himself. Which means there’s probably a couple extra bodies that started to figure out he was an informant too.

The ISU has also been referred to as the “Nutting Squad”, in reference to the fact that many of the informers uncovered were shot in the back of the head - the nut.[8] 18 killings as a result of ISU activities have been directly attributed to Scappaticci,[9] including the murders of two senior policemen[10] and a suspected informer named Joe Fenton.[8]

This shit doesn’t solve conflict, it creates it.

You can’t literally give some psychopath a “license to kill” especially if the other side already gave the same license.

And it’s been 20 years since people found out. Dude was just chilling among his victims family and shit like nothing ever happened. And they’re still not charging?

    This shit is crazy

Britain has always given a “license to kill” to those who control restive colonies.
