They are in fact referencing project 596, which was a nuclear test conducted in a very remote desert region called “Lop Nur”. This region was chosen because it is just over 300km away from the nearest town.

Meanwhile, the American Nevada test site was located only 65km away from the nearest town, and the USA remains the only country to have dropped a nuclear bomb directly on a civilian population, and they did it twice. (not even including the times they dropped nukes on small island populations, promising they’d be able to return.)

Don’t forget the brits nuked their own troops as a shoddy experiment. Put some new recruits on a boat in the south pacific. They didnt tell the troops they would be seeing the bomb. When it dropped they were close enough that they reported seeing through their skin like an xray. A huge percentage got cancer and ptsd.

To also say nothing of the testing done at Bikini Atoll. US irradiated their land after saying it’d be fine, and gave radiation poisoning to another group on a diff atoll (and then monitored them, so I’m sure it was completely accidental)

There’s also the sailors they put on ships they’d nuked, and swore to secrecy under penalty of prison for like 40 years, until most of them were dead, soldiers they walked into the immediate fallout of nuclear bombs, prisoners injected with nuclear material, just comically evil shit all around.

And the random Japanese fishermen who just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and who were covered in radioactive fallout. And then they moved the Bikini islanders to a deserted island unable to support human life. They also injected plutonium into some poor unsuspecting patients to see what would happen.

On 23 March 1945 Ebb Cade was on his way to work at a construction site for the Manhattan Project when he was involved in a traffic accident at Oak Ridge, Tennessee. He was an African-American cement worker for the J.A. Jones Construction Company. Cade presented at the Oak Ridge Hospital with fractures of right patella, right radius and ulna and left femur. Dr. Hymer Friedell, deputy medical director of the Manhattan Engineer District, determined that as Cade was, as he characterized, a “well developed…well nourished” “colored male”, he was suitable for “experimentation” with plutonium injection. Doctors left his fractures untreated for 20 days until after plutonium injections began on 10 April 1945. Cade received the injections at the Oak Ridge Hospital on the Clinton Engineer Works reservation at Oak Ridge, Tennessee without his assent or knowledge. He became known as HP-12 (Human Product-12), and was the first person to be injected with Pu-239. In order to test the migration of plutonium through his body, subsequently fifteen of Cade’s teeth were extracted, and bone samples taken.

How could communist China do something so barbaric?

The US also did nuclear tests on a bunch of islands in the pacific, and used nearby islanders to study the effects of fallout:

    • Between 1946 and 1958, the US tested 23 nuclear devices at Bikini Atoll, using the native islanders and their land as guinea pigs for the effects of nuclear fallout. Significant fallout caused widespread radiological contamination in the area, and killed many islanders. A survivor stated, “What the Americans did was no accident. They came here and destroyed our land. They came to test the effects of a nuclear bomb on us. It was no accident.” Many of the islanders exposed were brought to the US Argonne National laboratory, to study the effects. Afterwards the islands proved unsuitable to sustaining life, resulting in starvation and requiring the residents to receive ongoing aid. Virtually all of the inhabitants showed acute symptoms of radiation syndrome, many developing thyroid cancers, Leukimia, miscarriages, stillborn and “jellyfish babies” (highly deformed) along with symptoms like hair falling out, and diahrrea. A handful were brought to the US for medical research and later returned, while others were evacuated to neighboring Islands. The US under LBJ prematurely returned the majority returned 3 years later, to further test how human beings absorb radiation from their food and environment. The islanders pleaded with the US to move them away from the islands, as it became clear that their children were developing deformities and radiation sickness. Radion levels were still unacceptable. The United States later paid the islanders and their descendants 25 million in compensation for damage caused by the nuclear testing program. A 2016 investigation found radiation levels on Bikini Atoll as high as 639 mrem yr−1, well above the established safety standard threshold for habitation of 100 mrem yr−1. Similar tests occurred elsewhere in the Marshall Islands during this time period. Due to the destruction of natural wealth, Kwajalein Atoll’s military installation and dislocation, the majority of natives currently live in extreme poverty, making less than 1$ a day. Those that have jobs, mostly work at the US military installation and resorts. Much of this is detailed in the documentary, The Coming War on China (2016). 1,2

Lop Nur is the last remnant of the glacial sea that occupied the Tarim Basin, it used to be a large lake but it was reduced to a small lake partially from over irrigation. a couple of cities near it had to be abandoned as this happened, before the 7th century ce. further modern irrigation made it fully dry up in the 70’s

Why China Nuked Its Own People

if this actually happened, I just really feel like I would have heard of it before, like literally every single time the topic of conversation gets anywhere near the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which is pretty common, I should have seen somebody yeah but China’d in about it several times this year already.

There is propaganda footage of Chinese soldiers watching the blast then riding in the desert on horseback with gas masks lol. But this is hardly “getting nuked” and just about every nuclear power has propaganda/training footage of soldiers being near the blast.
