Thanks! Reading around Lemmy, I’ve come to learn that sports is like the #2 thing people most complain about showing up in their feeds after porn. My guess is that some lemmy.ca users scrolling a local feed downvoted the post because they don’t want to see sports instead of blocking the community. I think my post time around Monday 9am ET might’ve made this post more visible than usual on local feeds. I think posting middle of the day might be better. Thanks for listening to my analysis :)
