Earlier this year, Microsoft promised it was working on fix for "0x80070643 - ERROR_INSTALL_FAILURE that was happening when trying to install Windows 10 KB5034441 update. However, that's not to be.

Both my laptops were Win10-native, not upgrades from previous versions.
