      We’re actually on the far left of all those graphs. If the atmosphere gets anywhere close to 1000, we’re all dead.

    Could be fixed by countries adding tax funded discount on leasing electric cars, since fossil fuel consumption is the largest source.

    Make it possible for everyone to lease a new, modern electric car with a large discount.

      EVs only minimizes the CO2 consumption, since actual car production (especially batteries) creates stitton of CO2. So while it’s better, incentivizing something that still contributes to the problem is not a real solution.

        Perfect is the enemy of progress. Since there are no silver bullets, I would go for a solution that helps instead of being passive. But that’s me. :)

          More trains and mass transit is the solution. Cars also produce tire dust which is the lead source of microplastic pollution. Electric vehicles are not a solution.

          If we are just talking about personal or theoretical goals, then sure. But if we want to subsidize the whole market with taxpayer money, then I have to disagree.
