I think the name of the game is just dungeon crawl and stone soup is like the popular updated tileset for it so it isn’t just ascii graphics
If you like d&d roguelikes look it up, it’s p. fun. You’re trying to get to the bottom of a dungeon to retrieve the Orb of Zot, there’s a lot of race/class/deity combinations to play with
