I’ve been saying to my lib family and coworkers that if the Dems really believed that Trump was a threat to democracy they would declare all the Jan 6 people terrorists and drone strike Mar-a-Lago. It’d be totally legal to do so, and you can’t sit there and tell me with a straight face that half the people who would die don’t deserve it (unfortunately the wait/cleaning/kitchen staff would be collateral damage).
Since they haven’t done this, either they don’t think he’s a threat or they don’t think that American democracy is worth defending. Take your pick.
Why drone strike it? Just have Seal Team 6 raid it and shoot Trump in the face. Or have a CIA agent put some radioactive substance in his Big Mac.

Every IRL Lib I know, save maybe a handful of older ones, pretty much despises the Republican party and it’s supporters now. I’ve seen them openly fantasize about carpet bombing red states, my sister has talked about wanting to burn down the house of the guy who flies a MAGA flag down the street from her. Thing is, it’s all over decorum and aesthetics, they think the Republicans are tacky now and sullying the respectable image of America. They’re a bunch of nasty low class rednecks who are holding back America from becoming a more classy cosmopolitan society.
That gives me hope that when we get organized enough to run serious candidates we can tell the voters we want to crush the Republicans completely and get them to leave the Dems in droves.
