    I call him a Luddite because he resists any redesign.

    Prefabricated houses dont move very well. A container can be moved with a flatbed and a forklift. I think it is most likely that I will be living on leased property rather than something I own.

    I would prefer to be on someplace that is considered unbuildable for most construction, like a steep hillside. A pole building would probably work but the time for construction is pretty long and expensive compared to setting a container.

    I hope to live there part time and a shipping container is about as secure as you can get when it is closed up.

    Contrary to what others have said here the ones I have been in are pretty comfortable in the heat (which came a s a surprise to me.) I don’t have any experience with them in the cold. I suspect this is due to a high thermal mass.

    I trust these people more than the opinoins expressed in this community.
