minus-squareFoxBJK@midwest.sociallinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up91·1 year agoAgreed. This place ain’t 100% the same but it’s been a fine replacement and it will get better over time.
minus-squareteft@startrek.websitelinkfedilinkarrow-up30·edit-21 year agoI like the communities around here. Different ones are larger here than on The-Site-That-Shall-Not-Be-Named which gives it a different feel. And people seem to be more apt to have discussions instead of getting crabby. Also seem to be fewer bots.
minus-squareObjectionist@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up12arrow-down1·edit-21 year agowhat bots we have here are usually super helpful, like our good friend autotldr :)
minus-squarePsyduck_world@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up3·1 year agoDefinitely a different vibe of people here, I have to actively tell myself to be less snarky and more positive to fit in.
minus-squareHobbes@startrek.websitelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up20·1 year agoIMHO it’s so much better. I’ve had better discussions, less stupid comments (no pun comment threads so far for example). I don’t want Lemmy to turn into Reddit.
