      1. How the food supply system functions within the US
      2. socio-economic conditions imposed upon vast swathes of the population
      3. generations of mal-education by the largest food suppliers via “marketing”

While I don’t disagree that people need to help themselves first since nobody saving your sorry ass but your comment in this context was made in bad faith.

Right, nobody has access to cheap healthy food and nobody has time to cook. More tired shit.

Is it worse or is there more available bad food? Last time I was in the US and had to grocery shop, I was AMAZED of how much frozen and refrigerated meals there were. And snacks too.

But I’m not sure if they were worse than their equivalents at home. Except cereals and bread, it was way too sweet in the USA.

Of course this is a very small experience.

US processed foods are of inferior quality due to FDA permitting all sorts of questionable additives.

Meat processing standards are also different. Along with other agricultural regulations are more permissive in the US.

Taste is subjective of course but people do report that EU food is “better” subjectively Also, if we go by something that can be compared apples to apples, so to say. People report that McDonald’s burgers taste better… well pretty much everywhere but the US, McDonalds is straight up nasty in the US lol

With that being said, if you wan good shit, you can go out and buy the good shit if 1) you know what to look for 2) have sufficient buying power, as you will quality realize that the things you want to eat costs money.

There is always rice & beans classic for the poors mixed with veg is pretty healthy and relatively cheap but expecting a red-blooded, alpha daddy American male to it a like a mexican pussy is just not acceptable attitude to have around this here country!
