The Republican's campaign said it raised $34.8 million from small-dollar donors in less than seven hours following the historic verdict Thursday afternoon.

I don’t know the answers except that they don’t adjust these for inflation. But I do know from years of watching politics that the old record isn’t anywhere close to this. I don’t recall ever even seeing $10 million raised in one day.
