I don’t really mind spiders, so I was good. Moreover, I was really fascinated with her (lore) as I was listening to the Paleblood Hunt in tandem when I wasn’t playing the game. The fight itself was just really annoying and difficult for me at first.

The rest of the game also wasn’t as scary to me even though it very well could have been. The only actually “scary” part after that was right after you enter the real Workshop in this cathedral or church where there’s absolutely no light whatsoever and a bunch of wolves lurking around. I got goosebumps a couple of times, but the scary factor wears off once you get killed there a couple times lol

Was there anything you found scary in the game?

I did the whole game blind so every fight was a complete pain in the ass.

I think i died nearly a hundred times to her.

I was more asking about the complete tonal shift to lovecraftian horror after her.

Oof on the hundred deaths. I could very well see myself have that happen to me

I found it quite awesome, but I think I didn’t really get it the first time around. Only after exposing myself to more of the lore (Paleblood Hunt or YouTube) was that I grasped what was happening

Yahargul was an experience indeed. I think I got there naturally whilst exploring though. I for sure hadn’t encountered the church woman you meet down there until after I wanted to get the platinum
