Human rights defenders on Tuesday decried the U.S. House of Representatives’ passage of a bill that would sanction International Criminal Court officials over the Hague tribunal’s pursuit of arrest warrants for Israeli leaders—legislation critics warned would undermine the court’s independence and could be weaponized to silence Americans’ free speech.

The US cannot give any credence to the ICC whatsoever, and so is forced to attack it over this.

      Why ?

Too many American service personnel would be I. ICC jail.

      really?

Yes… the ASPA (2002) act was passed foot the reason of keeping US military personnel out of jail for war crimes.

Many of us can’t take a day off work without fear of losing the roof over our heads, we ain’t got time or energy to fight, and that’s by design.

This is fucked. The pro-Israel lobby is out of control.

Israel is a failed experiment and should’ve been stopped 60 years ago.

It’s not so much being pro-genocide as being genocide indifferent. The real motivation here is to avoid precedent that could be used against the US in the future. The US absolutely doesn’t want to be subject to the ICC.
