Welcome new members! Please take a second to read the rules located in the community sidebar.
We are doing our best to appeal the Reddit ban. In the meantime, we thought it might be nice to have a new safe space to snark and have made lemmy.ca our new home.
Please bear with us while we figure the new site out and please let any former TBP Reddit users know we are here!

The name of the site was NOT the reason the sub was moved here. I took the time to look into what forum would be most similar to Reddit, and Lemmy came very highly recommended. Also - this is a Canadian-run site, which I felt was appropriate considering TBP is Canadian. And since our country seems to turn a blind eye to her antics, I thought this would be a good way to get more eyes on what she is doing.
That being said, I will remove the irony comment from my post. Also, if the consensus around here is that this site was chosen with malicious intent, I will happily delete the community. However, I will leave it up to someone else to find an alternative and moderate it. I didn’t HAVE to set this all up, but I took the time to do it because I feel what we are doing here is important and hate that we were censored yet again, only now on Reddit. Being a mod is not easy and if someone feels better suited, be my guest.
Babynona, please remove the part of your comment explaining the name link, or your post will be removed for breaking the Minor’s Right to Privacy rule.
I think that comment is ridiculous! Anyone with a brain knows you wouldn’t have done something like what you’ve been accused! This group, for the most part, bends over backwards to protect those kids. I’m really sorry someone went after you like that because it was not called for. Thanks for setting this up since many need this outlook for their own peace of mind.
Thank you! Will it be difficult for Americans to use this platform? I don’t know how many of the Redditors were Canadians or Americans.
I am in the US and it’s working just fine for me! I really hated the interface initially and felt lost and confused, but I downloaded the Thunder app and it made it a lot easier to navigate.
This platform is accessible worldwide, no issue for Americans
I am in the US and it’s working fine for me 🙂
Thank you!
I never used this site but I DEFINITELY remember seeing a lot of people on Reddit suggest this site last summer when Reddit had the API changes and lots of subs went on strike or whatever. The name is absolutely a coincidence and it has nothing to do with our community or TBP.
I think that might have been the only person who was offended by the name. Appreciate you!
Not all of us want to go on discord.
Discord feels chaotic af to me.
Isn’t a large part of discord audio or video chat? That’s not accessible to people who are deaf/hard of hearing. I’m glad I can still participate here (I’m DHH).
