Sounds nice tbh. The Lemmygrad struggle session elected to keep the downvote, but I think it is not just pointless, but actively detrimental to online discussion.
The only thing I find it useful for is seeing how many libs read just enough of a comment to find out I don’t agree with them. Which isn’t super useful at all tbh.
If anyone on our instance is responsible for that lone upvote they should be banned.

It really supercharged our posting strength too, an unintended benefit since I never thought we’d federate.
agreed. downvotes don’t serve any purpose but censoring content. replying is a much better way to show disagreement.
