The reaction at the show doesn’t impact my expectations either way, since people at shows kind of have a tendency to go nuts over the smallest glimpses.

I hope it is good. Watchmen leveraged the comic medium so heavily that it seems like any adaption is destined to lose a lot of the original flavor created by the way it was drawn and used the layouts. We will see what style is given to the adaption to bring it to life on its own terms.
