Why the fuck would everyday Russians use dollars in the first place two years after the currency was rendered useless in Russia?

For me it was this and honestly it was coupled with wondering why every single combat footage video was from the Ukranian pov and why after a few months of what was being painted as a completely one sided battle the Ukrainians weren’t making any advances.

Seems weird that the only country with functional weapons being outfitted by every single nato country was having such a hard time against people that allegedly didn’t know what a toilet was.

Then it was getting banned because I said it wasn’t good to give unrestricted weapons to dudes with black sun patches on their uniform yelling “die f*****s” in every video.

Having libs explain to me that I didn’t understand the context of why the f slur wasn’t a big deal in Ukraine was a real mask off moment.

Welcome to the right side of history comrade. I’ve been disillusioned for long enough that I watched 9/11 happen live on TV and my first thought was “well shit we probably had that coming”

Oh it’s been a long time before that in general that’s just what flipped me from 50/50 to actively opposing what was happening.

9/11 was a big day for me because it’s the first day I actively watched the news after getting sent home from school.

And then a couple months later nobody could come up with an explanation for why we were invading Iraq that made any sense to 8 year old me.

“So they’re the ones that attacked us?”

        “Well no, but you see…”

“Then why are we going to war with them?”

        “Welllll… you see…”

Then I started noticing a pattern that cause and effect didn’t really seem to have anything to do with decision making.
