If they were fired because they were trying to start a union, that would be wrongful dismissal.
The corporation can be compelled to rehired them, because the firings would have been invalid, so they should not have taken place.
If they were fired because they hosted a media event on company property, which is against the company policies, then it would be a valid dismissal.
