President Joe Biden says he will not use his presidential powers to lessen the eventual sentence that his son Hunter will receive for his federal felony conviction on gun crimes.
I want to believe, but I bet if the sentence is too harsh, and Biden doesn’t win reelection, he will change his mind. Or maybe even if he does win and no longer cares. But I see that as less likely.
I would actually be somewhat understanding of that, if for no other reason than I would be very concerned with what the orange man would do to someone already in prison.

That’s a good point. Though I worry for every democrat that opposes the orange man. If he wins, he will be emboldened like he never was before.
