I just wish Africa as a whole embraced crypto. It could be a game changer for money transfer. This just seems like a ploy to train AI on the iris’ of Kenyans (and anybody who will use it).
Africa has embraced electronic phone payments. They have a venmo like thing that they often use to make payments and can limit how much so if they get robbed they don’t lose their whole bank account.
That may be, but transferring to Africa is expensive af. Banks make a lot of money on remittances. If I didn’t know better, I’d say it’s criminal.
