Everyone is a piece of shit, except the one who is supposed to be the villainess (and her faithful servant <- I like her). Why do all those villainess stories follow the same pattern? At least it’s not an otome game isekai this time. There is also one thing that is angering me:

MC is abducted by bandits and forced into sex work in a brothel. But it does get played down as if it was nothing special. No trauma, no nothing. The narrative happily explains how her first time achieved the highest price in the brothel ever. But the “villainess” is so good that she doesn’t have any resentment towards the girl who orchestrated her downfall and sex trafficking. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t need any trauma porn in my entertainment, but if they add this grim plot point then it should at least mean something and should not be handled as if they just forced her to pick up a piece of trash from the floor.
