I’m hoping to get some help here. I finally took the plunge and installed Bazzite to a spare drive, and during the initial installation setup I was able to connect to my wifi. After booting up for the first time I noticed it said no connection. I see the wifi device listed, but I don’t see anyway to connect. It doesn’t find any networks. I’ve searched around but haven’t found any solutions yet, and I’m hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
I greatly appreciate any help here, and I’m happy to provide any further information if necessary.
Check if you have a broadcom adaptor. They have to be enabled manually as they screw with other wifi drivers
How would one check and enable that?
There is a ujust command for it. You can see the model with lsusb (if it is a stick) or lspci (if it is a card)
Thanks!
Check the output of :
lsusb | grep -A 3 -i network
lspci -v | grep -A 3 -i network
rfkill list all
Okay, so, first off, I really appreciate the comments on this and those that took their time for it. As of now I am connected to my network and everything appears to be working. What’s odd though is I didn’t do anything. I powered it up when I got home, signed in, and had a wifi icon in the bottom right this time, where I found my network and got connected. I had already ran a few shutdown/restarts since installing Bazzite, but apparently this one worked. Now I just have to hope it stays that way. Thanks again!
Also, this was using the built in Realtek wifi on an Asus B550M motherboard if that helps anyone.
Maybe a wake-sleep issue with the cards power saving mode, if it happens again, ping me. Else I’mma consider this solved.
