Links, formatting and tables. Tables are awesome.
I use Markor on Android. The search/replace feature’s regex option makes formatting data into tables easier.
I use a program called QOwnNotes which uses markdown formatting. It’s pretty good so far, first time using markdown, seems practical for the note taking usecase
I only use markdown on sites like this, reddit and Tildes included. I think the Mastodon instance I’m on also allows it.

Justin general really. I just remember things way bette4 now that I structurally write them down and document them in a fun way. I used to just write stuff on paper and then trash it when done. I still remember what I wrote,but it’s way worse than adding pics, underlining, thinking about formatting, making callouts.
Also making tables for my taxes and then using a plugin to auto calculate what I owe to whom is amazing.
