Thank you everyone for your support since 2009.

Thank you to /u/anon_smithsonian in particular for taking care of everyone on /r/redditisfun.

RIF, you’re quirky and rough around the edges, but you’ve always gotten the job done. You know how to get out of the way and show people the articles, discussions, pictures, and videos they came for.

You have the silliest name, but we love you all the more for it. RIF will always be fun in our hearts.

RIF has been so much of my life.

I’m honored that so many of you have felt the same way.

Thank you for sharing this journey with me. It’s been fun.

I’ve used Reddit Is Fun since around early 2011 when I got my first Android Phone. A few months later it was on sale on the (then called) Android Market and I got Reddit Is Fun Golden Platinum.

It’s been my only way to access Reddit since I installed it and I’ve been on Reddit since around November 2005 when friends showed it to me.

Thanks for making an app that was so easy and pleasant to use. I tried Alien Blue and Relay since others were using them, but they lasted a few days and each time I was going back to RIF.

    Thanks u/talklittle !!!

(I don’t know how to use Lemmy yet so I don’t think this is how you ping users)

I’m convinced that there is more going on behind the scenes. Like Twitter was gutted recently, reddit follows. The ones with power don’t like the masses having as much access to information and the ability for like minded individuals to talk with each other. Elon Musk was a scapegoat as is Spez now in an effort to shape global access to information.

Thank you @talklittle for all your work, as many others said here, RIF was probably the most used app I had and it was my main tool used for Reddit. All the best man.
