It was a great PR stunt that cost taxpayers $230 million and delivered less than 1 day’s worth of aid during all of its operation.
So it was a successful project as far as the politician is concerned.
I’m sure voters will hold them accountable for their flagrant waste of taxpayer funds that could have been used elsewhere much more effectively.
