Well I finally picked up the Netflix Avatar series. I thought some of the actors were fantastic (Zuko, Iroh, Zhao, Sokka, and Suki, to name some). I was disappointed by their Ozai and Azula. My biggest complaint was the pacing. Not enough episodes to tell the story well (like Katara’s rise to being called “master” was rushed). I look forward to the next two seasons.

I didn’t care for Azula either, and some of the fake hair was disappointing (Lt. Jee’s sideburns were terrible, as was the male water tribe master’s hair). Yue’s wig was not convincing at all.

Oddly, Zhao’s sideburns looked great. So you know they had the ability.

Finally watched the latest demon slayer season. It was only 8 episodes, so I binged through it. It felt more like a set up for the next season (prob the climax) then its own season.

Started a currently airing anime called senpai wa otokonoko. Wasn’t expecting such an accurate representation of the trans experience (and represents some other lgbt sections too) out of a Japanese comedy anime. It even has multiple blahaj.
If you want to watch it, I would recommend going in blind because any summary will spoil some things that happen in the first episode.

Disclaimer: I’m not trans, but 🥞

Also watching the deer anime. My brain has rotted. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9smvZADqxdg
