    The very first thing they need to do is stop running races in extreme downpour conditions at Spa, atleast for the feeder series with junior drivers.

    Unfortunately, I came across a video of the crash somewhere on twitter and it’s shockingly similar to what happened between Hubert and Correa.

    A crying shame that not only do lives continue to be lost, but in ways that are damn near identical to past events that we should have already learned better from.

      Agreed. It’s insane they’re not learning. Even Landos crash there should have been a wake up call. Not sure how many incidents it’s gonna take for them to reasess

      This is the issue. Spa is the best track in my opinion, it has the most flow and it’s history is legendary. But racing in heavy rain on that track always ends in crashes. This crash didn’t look like the track was at fault though, it was the driver getting rammed by another car at high speed that couldn’t see through the spray… a reminder that this is actually a dangerous sport. It’s not bowling. It’s not baseball it’s hurtling around a ground track in airplanes
