      Don’t even need to ban anything. The federal government is the largest single purchaser of computer hardware and software. If they mandated that systems had to start diversifying-say 1/3 windows and 2/3 Linux distros, Microsoft would need to actually compete. Similarly if they mandated security software come from no fewer than (say) five providers, each provider would need to do actual QA, and would be a viable option for other purchasers as well.

      Fuck I’ll bite. Please for the love of God explain how you think crowd strike of all companies has a monopoly. Or how you plan to prevent bottle necks in swsc, even in oss. As if apache or open SSL hasn’t created massive issues that required immediate labor to fix.
