    The hardware is better in many ways than a Steam Deck but the device overall is still garbage because it runs Windows. WIRED has a much more realistic review here:

    Definitely not the best gaming handheld. Not by a long shot!

    BTW: I’ve never seen an article with more useless benchmarks than that one, wow. Show us how the battery life works out while playing a game people would actually play on the thing (i.e. not Cyberpunk 2077, LOL).

      I also think that the Steam Deck is probably a better option just due to first party support.

      Linux is in many ways better than Windows in gaming, especially the customizability, compatibility and especially more and more cases performance.

      Steamdeck is still the king. ROG is lacking the compatibility of different OS, steam can be installed everywhere but not ROG drivers or their control panel.

      A lot better repairability and costs of repairs is a lot better.
