Pelosi calls Trump ā€˜unhingedā€™ and reveals exchange with doctors at 2019 memorial for top psychiatrist

In early 2019, at a memorial service for a prominent psychiatrist, a succession of ā€œdoctors and other mental health professionalsā€ told Nancy Pelosi they were ā€œdeeply concerned that there was something seriously wrongā€ withĀ Donald Trump, ā€œand that his mental and psychological health was in declineā€.

ā€œIā€™m not a doctor,ā€ the former speaker writes in an eagerly awaited memoir, ā€œbut I did find his behaviors difficult to understand.ā€

but if Pelosiā€™s book can get this into a headline, itā€™s certainly a valid hit on that front.

But of the people who havenā€™t decided to vote, how many would hear of this?

How many are reading political articles but canā€™t decide who to vote for?

This ainā€™t outreach, itā€™s inreach. Which isnā€™t even a word, because itā€™s a pointless endeavor

Itā€™s The Guardian. Itā€™s sitting right there on the cover of the US edition right below their live politics ticker currently titled ā€œTrump criticized by Republicans and Democrats after questioning Harrisā€™s racial identity ā€“ liveā€.

Iā€™m gonna guess tons of people saw that headline, read it, and that was the last piece of engagement they had with this.

Which is why you need one of these up on major newspapers every day.

You think the majority of Americans who arenā€™t already voting read Newspapers everyday?

        Specifically a British one?

Iā€™m not going to spend anymore time explaining this, itā€™s clearly not working.

That pice is actually not in the UK edition. The Guardian publishes a specific edition for the US, hence the American spelling on that one. My understanding is they have some reach, apparently. You made me look it up, their advertising brochure has them being about half the size of the Washington Post in the US.

Not that it matters for the issue at hand, but itā€™s an interesting factoid.
