It really would be a shame if Project 2025 fell out of the news cycle for any reason

Keep talking about this crazy shit, especially how Trump, trough his VP pick, Vance, is directly tied to it, even as Trump lies and says he is not.

I’m torn, is it giving free press and air time for the worst sides of society? Kind of like in 2016 the time afforded to Trump to try to talk about how horrible and horrifying he is but ended up just giving him a free 24/7 platform?

        Look at it this way:

The biggest voting bloc in the US is the unmotivated non-voter who - believe it or not - is vastly liberal but disaffected to the process and the result.

Issues like Protect 2025 motivate these non-voters but only when there’s a realistic opposition candidate that really stands out. Well, kids, that’s what we got in Kamala, and why Trump & Co. are scared shitless.

So, YES, keep talking about this, keep motivating people, because team red will always come at full-strength, but to get the liberal non-voters who feel betrayed by the system to actually get off their asses and vote this election cycle, we all need to make it clear what’s at stake if they sit this one out.

I have no idea if this is true outside of possible Democrat-voters not always voting, but in my conservative area I have been seeing Trump flags come down and right-leaning folks say they may not vote. This is also a reason to push these things. I don’t think all conservatives like this sort of talk, either. I agree: “YES, keep talking about this, keep motivating people.” I haven’t figured out how to get these folks to switch sides but I have figured out how to talk to them. Some of them are not happy.

I’m in the UK. I know of plenty of unmotivated non-voters who are actually quite socially right-wing.

gun control in the UK vs US? I mean… it is different? Its different in that if strict laws were put in place in the US you’d have to send marshalls to people’s houses to confiscate things that can remove your brain from your head at 300 meters away… …from people who like to say “you can take my gun from my cold dead hands”

I’m not saying we shouldn’t, I’m just saying it is undeniably different
