The least the malware writers could have done is install Tor Browser so the user didn’t have to.
(Joking. Joking. I fully expect malware writers to be scumbags. And having ransomware install a possibly-tainted version of Tor Browser is about the last thing I’d want when I got this message.)
Also, the price raises to $5,000 if a Bitcoin payment is not made within three days? Last time I sold any Bitcoin, it took longer than that just to sync my wallet. (Also, fuck Bitcoin. The fact that I sold Bitcoin does not mean I’m a cryptobro by any stretch.)
