Still slowly progressing through My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! -Pirates of the Disturbance- (and what a long title that is). I have sadly found 14 typos so far, and 19 errors (counting those 14 typos) only having Keith’s route, Geordo’s route, the Normal route and having literally just started Nicol’s. On one hand it’s a lot of text and I know I have a very good eye for typos: I don’t actively look for typos in order to say something nasty, it’s more that I just play and honestly can’t help but notice them. On another hand, it’s a commercially-released game. But hey, I know some otome have… not the best translations (some possibly machine-translated!) and this one clearly reads as translated by a human being who knows both Japanese and English.
Katarina can use Earth Bump in the game, and it has such a cute SFX!

I got kidnapped! I love how the game calls it “Another End” and not “Bad End” or “Doom End,” which both acknowledges some people are into that, as well as that Katarina is oblivious to her capture. It’s also funny to me how, in his good end, Katarina wonders “is this jealousy?” to something that is normal for him and does not read as jealousy, just regular old possessiveness, and she misses so many times where he is actually acting jealous of someone else. Not sure if it’s her obliviousness or something that did not make it over in translation.

The kidnapping reminds me of Jumin Han’s bad end.
