Hey sorry if this is wrong forum, but I live in the USA and want to leave because it’s too violent, what country should I move to?

    It’s very hard to get permanent residency outside of your home country unless you’re very skilled, rich, or have relevant ancestry. Were any of your grandparents direct immigrants from another country? You may be able to work that for citizenship, if so. Croatia and Italy go back further, iirc.

    *Edit I’d want China or Ireland, personally, but neither may ever be possible for me

      Ireland’s housing crisis is one of the worst in Europe right now. The government is extremely neoliberal resulting in crises in all areas, healthcare, policing etc.

        I didn’t know it was quite that bad. It just seemed like a nice place, and it’s much easier to be a foreigner in a place you (mostly) know the language in.
