    It’s really more the horrifying spectacle of it. In Vietnam people had access to rapid or sometimes even live TV news about what was happening in the war, and it changed public opinion drastically. Same with TikTok now. It’s hard to swallow any of Israel’s bullshit when you’ve seen footage of children screaming with bones sticking out of their mangled legs, crying near-skeletal because they can’t stand the unending pain of starving to death, plastic bags of 70kg of shredded meat each being counted as a person and whatnot.
