Upside-down or just set up for drawing with her left hand?

Looks to me like the cutout for the gun handle is where it should be for right hand drawing.

Most holsters that are intended for cross drawing are located on your hip, torso or chest and are angled such that you can easily cross draw them while standing, sitting, kneeling or in basically any position other than prone on your belly.

This is because an arm reaching to a far side of your body cannot reach as far down or around as an arm reaching to the side it is on without a good bit of contortion and usually a longer drawing time.

This pictured set up would only work if you only wanted to be able to draw while in this stance and even then it would be fairly awkward, even more awkward in basically all other stances.

It seems like this set up would work best i guess if you are sitting in a chair with your right leg crossed over your left.

What if you have this pictured holster set up and you need to draw while standing? You’ve got to bend over or change stances and do contortions compared to a hip/torso/chest cross draw holster as opposed to more simply doing a straight right side draw with the holster not upside down, which would be faster and easier.

It might sort of make sense if the holster was on the front of her right leg instead of the side, and if the barrel of the gun was about 30 degrees angled toward her center line, with the grip/magwell pointing basically toward her other leg’s knee, (mirrored from the pictured holster) but that would again only make sense if she for some reason draws with her left hand despite being pictured as a right hand dominant shooter.

I may be wrong, but I’ve never heard of or seen a thigh holster of this type and placement intended for cross draw.

This holster pictured would make sense on her left thigh. There it would be right side up at least.

        What?

I’m still trying tell if you genuinely interpet the pictured holster to be upside down, as in barrel pointing up when standing.

        I don’t see that.

Yes, thats how I was seeing it.

However: I am wrong, it is right side up.

          Welp, that’s embarrassing.

Would be nice if I had my glasses and more than the shittiest phone on Earth, but yeah, you’re correct, it’s right side up.
