Can relate to that, but in reverse. Fell out of my twice daily stretch/yoga sessions and it really was the thing holding me together.
Tony Hawk landed the first 900 when he was 30
Yeah, well I bumped my knee on a table and nearly passed out from the pain, so who’s really winning here?
900 what

900 degree rotation over a half pipe
I found a YouTube link in your comment. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:
900 degree rotation then walk away
Honestly this was worst in my 20s. I get less muscle pain now
I’m feeling it, but I’ve slacked for a couple of years and only just started again. The pain is lessening
Yeah, I know it’s 100% a consistency thing. I’m just a parent of a young child in this decade so keeping a regular workout schedule is a lot harder than in my 20s lol.
You have my sympathies. Life is hard and unaccommodating.
I thought your meme was very good btw. It made me laugh. Especially as I’d just finished running and felt like a sack of coat hangers
Muscle… Knots
feels gud tho
When I first started working out about 2-3 months ago I would get really sore. But as I’ve gotten more consistent and tried to stick with a workout plan I feel it less and less.
My six year old needs me to workout because he also wants to be “adhered” to the wall spider-man style like his 3-year old brother. I went to the gym Tuesday and today. Everything hurts.
We’ve got a kiddo who likes to “fly” on a broom like Kiki’s Delivery Service. It was a lot easier the other year lol
Does yours go “go to the gym old man!” When you tell them, they can’t be lifted like they used to?
I was humbled.

Working out inevitably leads to pulling something, a month or two of recovery where all gains disappear and I feel worse. I’m going super slow this time, but I regularly do alot of exercise at work so I’m just as likely to pull out my back or shoulders there, and I’m really just starting to fall apart it feels like. Bad knees, ankles hurt, shoulders ache, back is sore, hands ache if I grip too much. I feel like I need months off just to not hurt.
I like that feeling, but it used to be I’d have to run 2 hours to get that wonderful pain. Now it’s more like a 5k has me hazy the next day.
me doing my daily 20k on my bike do be helping with this
