Apologies if you’re a fan of the show, but this thing was just godawful.

I actually enjoyed the over-the-topness of EUPHORIA (same writer/director)–but this was just hysterically horrible. I’m glad it’s over (only 5 episodes)–but what a ride!

Rolling Stone had an article about this show saying their reviews on Rotten Tomatoes were really suspect. They didn’t come to any conclusion but sounds like lots of Astro-turfing to try to make it look like audiences liked the show. Sounds like it’s utter trash!

I’m a fan of the Weeknd’s music but everything from this show - minus a few of the singles, namely Popular with Playboi Carti & Madonna - looks uninteresting at best or ridiculous at worst, especially the character he’s playing.

Granted, I haven’t watched the show, so perhaps the marketing is just terrible, but still it almost seems to be a parody of a show HBO would be airing currently from what I’ve seen.

I’m scared to watch this show after what I’ve heard about it and I’m a big fan of The Weeknd. I don’t want this show to give me the ick whenever I listen to him in the future lol

I must be the only person who enjoyed watching this show. Yes The Weeknd is a terrible actor. But the show is still entertaining – most shots are beautiful and the “music industry drama” is funny.

I’m old, so I didn’t know from The Weeknd or Lily-Rose–but the actor that REALLY impressed me was Suzanna Son. I liked Jane Adams, too–I’ve been a fan of hers since HUNG.
