J.D. Vance brushed off Laura Loomerās racist comments, despite being married to an Indian American woman.
J.D. Vance would apparently rather protect Donald Trumpās decision to pal around with self-described āproud Islamophobeā and 9/11 conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer than stand up for his own wife.
Trump has been seen withĀ Loomer several times over the last couple of weeks, with the pair getting eyebrow-raisingly close (Trumpās hand has been spotted in the small of Loomerās back) while Melania Trump has largely remained out of the limelight. Loomer attended a 9/11 memorial service with Trump and also accompanied him to the presidential debate.
In an interview Sunday with NBC News, Vance was asked directly about his and his wife Usha Vanceās opinions on some of Loomerās overt racism, including her claim that Vice President Kamala Harrisās ascendency to the Oval Office would make the White House āsmell like curry.ā But Vance wouldnāt take a stand against the alt-right ally.

VP Harris chose to run while she was the incumbent Vice President. She is attached to what is commonly known as the Biden-Harris Administration. She had the opportunity to correct his comments or to distance herself from them when he made them. Because she did not, she must face the same penalty every other politician faces. The same standard that youāre holding Trump to when he did not distance himself from JD Vance who does not distance himself from Laura Loomer.
Joe Biden corrected himself and said he āshouldnāt have been such a wise guyā. There was no need for Harris to correct or distance.
