When will the day come when there is peace and there are no bombers in the Middle East?

When Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Halliburton, and friends stop lobbying our Congress to fund defense contracts, Israel, and other imperialist entities that have turned that region into a sandbox for the military industrial complex.

When humans remove themselves from this planet from one or more of war / climate change / doing nothing but grinding games that give cryptocurrency and forgetting to eat.

Let’s not pretend all humans are incapable of peace just because we have a system which makes the greedy and cruel rise to the top.

Let’s not pretend that the human world was not purposefully produced by humans who continually decide to leave the status quo as it is.

I’m autistic, you’re not going to be able to lie to me with “but I want things to be better”. Give me evidence.

Continuously decide to leave the status quo as it is

You’re acting as if there’s actual democracy everywhere and changing the status quo is just a matter of deciding we want better things. You’re disregarding the practical state of democracy and literally all the activism. You’re disregarding the entire history of humanity, basically. You’re acting as if we could just have a conference call among humanity and just decide to get rid of everything bad, and if that doesn’t happen, it means that everyone is a shit selfish person.

“The common people pray for rain, healthy children, and a summer that never ends,” Ser Jorah told her. “It is no matter to them if the high lords play their game of thrones, so long as they are left in peace.” He gave a shrug. “They never are.”

Our systems literally favour psychopaths in leading positions.

            https://www.forbes.com/sites/jackmccullough/2019/12/09/the-psychopathic-ceo/

            Give me evidence.

Of what? People doing things to change things? How about literally all activists? Most people are too busy with their own lives to actively give up everything, but if you’re arguing that no-one is doing anything to “make things better”, that’s a position that’s very easy to prove wrong.

I’m acting as if I have moral standards. I’ve stopped caring that others don’t.

You’re living in an imaginary world and making completely unfounded assumptions about other people while insisting on your superiority.

Can you give evidence of what you’ve done to “make things better”, or has your contribution been to whinge online how everyone except you is a bad person, while ignoring all the people actually working to improve things (something which I’m pretty sure you’re not doing yourself)?

I guess the Lebanese allowing their government and military to be infiltrated and usurped by Iranian and Iranian funded terrorists, for the past 40 years, which continually attack the far superior armed Israel from Lebanese territory, with no domestic internal Lebanese fight back, at all, wasn’t such a great idea after all, huh. I mean, who knew.

Hezbollah grew out of the brutal occupation of Southern Lebanon by Israel.

Shia initially viewed the Israelis with some optimism because they were not happy Fatah.

Israel’s brutal occupation quickly changed that sentiment.

Last time Lebanon and Israel were at war Israel lost. Hezbollah is better armed and trained now, and Israel is more isolated than ever. Israel is bombing civilian areas now, using terrorism because they cannot effectively stop Hezbollah rockets from hitting targets in ‘Israel’. People of Lebonan support Hezbollah and actions against Israel, they aren’t being held hostage.

Bruh… quit your BS propaganda. I know a family from south Lebanon, its Hezbollah martial law there. And if you have the audacity to have critical thoughts on Hezbollah/Iran/Hamas you get beaten or killed…

Political Hezbollah has only 12 seats in Lebanon, they are a minority, yet they control everything. Government is corrupted and keep a blind eye on what they do. Vast majority of Lebanese want them out. Recession and corruption is entirely Hezbollah/Iran doing.

You dont even know history and can’t even spell Lebanon, you are a troll…

Maybe you’re just a biased idiot? (Or is that antisemitism?)

Considering that Benji “Israel” Netanyahu keeps occupying lands that nobody in the civilized world will accept as Israel’s (see Europe and ignore US), maybe the quotes make sense.
