They’re really popular in Korea, I went to an alley in Seoul that was filled with restaurants all serving different pork dishes and trotters were one of the most popular dishes.
You should adjust your title. Pig trotters are used for many dishes, not just this one.
Wikipedia is very insistent that it’s just the one trotter. Pig trotters redirects to this page. It’s the omnitrotter.
