Microsoft researchers toyed with app permissions to uncover CVE-2024-44133, using it to access sensitive user data. Adware merchants may have as well.

Can someone just post here how much of a risk this is if you use a Mac but don’t use Safari?
If you’re up-to-date it’s been patched.
As I understand it, everything uses Safari. Whatever you’re running, it still uses Safari.
Correct me if I’m wrong, please.
That is for iOS, not MacOS.
